Abstrakt: The presence of a mediastinal mass in a child represents a challenging diagnostic and management problem. Although as many as one third of these masses produce no symptoms and are discovered accidentally, most are serious because they represent a malignant process or have the potential to produce significant symptoms by virtue of their size or position.
