| Abstrakt: | In the presence of silver triflate the reaction between the readily available α‐bromide (I) and the alcohol (II) affords an ortho‐ester, which undergoes spontaneous rearrangement under the conditions depicted in the scheme to give the β‐O‐glucuronide (III). |
