Abstrakt: The precise incidence of ureteral calculi complicating pregnancy cannot be stated. Probably, not infrequently, a pregnant woman develops renal colic and passes a calculus spontaneously, but the episode does not find it way into the obstetric literature. At all events, we can be sure that hospitalization for ureteral calculi during pregnancy is a rare occurrence.
