A case of a pelvic tumor produced by a urinary tract anomaly

Abstrakt: A case of an infected accessory ureter or ureter and kidney, of unusual size and presenting as a pelvic tumor, is reported. The types of retroperitoneal tumors which may simulate the more common gynecologic tumors are given. When dealing with pelvic masses, gynecologists should keep these tumors in mind.
