The Panel on Review of Obstetrical and Gynecological Devices of the Food and Drug Administration has tentatively recommended that all diagnostic, surgical, monitoring, therapeutic, and prosthetic devices in current use in the discipline be designated according to perceived need for scientific review, specific standards, and/or general controls for purposes of regulatory classification. Feedback is solicited from all obstetrician-gynecologists and other concerned citizens. |
