Abstrakt: Twelve patients, 6 to 56 years of age, underwent electrosedation for repair of their entire dentitions. Pain relief was afforded by local or regional block of the oral cavity. Results in five patients were successful; mental sedation was achieved, and the patients lost all their fears, anxieties, and apprehensions. In seven patients, mental sedation was not achieved, and the patients were difficult to manage. More research to determine proper placement of electrodes, the best design of electrodes, and the most efficacious current is needed.
