Equipment and methods are presented for recording temperature patterns resulting from the evaporation of volatile coating solutions applied to pellets in a rotating pan.These patterns are interpreted in regard to run‐to‐run replication, effect of application and drying rate, and coating solution distribution.The applicability of this equipment and methodology to control the coating of solid particles is discussed. |
