| Abstrakt: |
We describe a child with superior vena cava obstruction caused by an organized thrombus. With transluminal angioplasty, we were able to widen the lumen of the superior vena cava and clinically improve the child’s condition. Dilation of the thrombosed superior vena cava was accomplished by endothelial desquamation and intimal splitting. |
