Fibrosing mediastinitis and sclerosing cervicitis are fìbrosclerotic disorders akin to retroperitoneal fibrosis, with presenting symptoms related to local pain or viscus obstruction or both. No definitive treatment is known. This is the first report of these disorders dramatically responding to tamoxifen citrate and prednisone. |
