| Abstrakt: | The Raman spectra of temperature-sensitive samples are often difficult to record because of the significant temperature rises (up to 40°C) experienced when using relatively low (125 mW) laser powers. These effects can be minimised by using nujol mulls and pressed disks similar to those commonly employed for infrared analysis. This is illustrated by the use of a series of highly coloured samples whose further analysis allows the optimised sampling parameters to be presented. |
