| Abstrakt: | Chronic pancreatitis causes destruction of the pancreatic gland which leads to diabetes and malabsorption. Its principal cause is alcohol abuse, and intractable pain is the main clinical feature. The incidence of pancreatic carcinoma is increased among patients with chronic pancreatitis. |
