| Abstrakt: | My first management role was to implement a computerised PAS in 1986. This really brought home to me at a very early stage in my career how nervous people can be about change, more so when the change involves new technology. We all take computers for granted now, but people were really apprehensive about using them 20 years ago. We need our staff to adapt and change all the time—our job is to understand how staff may feel and work with them to be comfortable with the change. |
