Primary Care Groups and Trusts (PCG/Ts) are required to improve the health of their populations. How are they going about this?This survey of 72 PCGs found that most are embracing national priorities, assessing local health needs, and contributing to Health Improvement Programmes (HImPs).Although their focus is still on health care rather than on health, most are establishing partnerships with other agencies with a role in improving health. |
