Collaboration in the Engineering Classroom

Abstrakt: Graduate students use collaborative design and review teams to simulate situations they will encounter in their professional employment. This paper discusses how the graduate students work as teams on a bridgedesign project. The student teams also review and critique the completed written designs of other teams and lead the class discussion when the project results are presented orally in class.
