Abstrakt: The residual toxicities of 22 chemicals to nymphs of Amblyomma americanum (L.) were compared with that of DDT. Sixteen were more effective than DDT and phoxim and National Research Development Corporation NRDC-104 ((5-benzyl-3-furyl)methyl 2,2-dimethyl.3.(2-methylpropenyl)cyclopropanecarboxylate) (approximately 70% trans, 30% cis isomers), were 12.5 and 10.5 times more effective, respectively.
