Abstrakt: The generalization of a degree-day model which predicted biological events for Acrobasis nuxvolla Nuenzig was undertaken by using a frost-free day conversion factor based on other experimentation. The accuracy of the model was determined by using reports from the literature which showed the model to predict events better than calendar days. Real-time implementation of the model for field use was developed and analyzed. Results indicated the model improved capabilities to make integrated pest management decisions on pecan.
