Abstrakt: Ten new genetic markers are described in the oriental fruit fly, Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel). They include variants in eye color: cherry, copper, gold-grey, and Grape; eye structure: Azure, Furrow, and notched eye; and wing structure: crossveinless, curled, and notch wing. The linkage map places these genes on the five autosomal linkage groups. Furrow is inherited as a dominant gene; Azure and Grape are inherited as semidominant genes. The remaining seven traits are inherited as recessive genes.
