| Abstrakt: | Claws, empodia, specialized ridges and teeth on enlarged dorsa, and a highly modified posterior idiosoma adapt mites of the genera Trichocylliba, Circocylliba, Planodiscus, Coxequesoma, and Antennequesoma to specific regions on their army ant hosts. Such a radiation of holdfast mechanisms is unique among mites. |
