Abstrakt: | The effect of light on insect growth was demonstrated by Ball (1958), who showed that young Blattella germanica nymphs reared in the dark weigh more than those exposed to photic stimuli, and that as daily exposure time to light was increased, life span and mean body weights decreased. |
