| Abstrakt: | Improved syntheses of ruthenocene (Ruc) and osmocene (Osc) are described. These lithiated metallocenes (RucLi1-3and OscLi1-3) react with cobaltocenium-hexafluorophosphate (Coc+PF6-) to give the corresponding oligometallocenes Coc+—RucPF6-(1), 1,1′-(Coc+)2-Ruc(PF6)2(2), Coc+—OscPF6-(4), and 1,1′-(Coc+)2—Osc(PF6)2(5). The products were characterized by IR, MS, NMR and elemental analysis. |
