Abstrakt: Garré’s osteomyelitis of the jaws is a unique clinical pathologic entity that is characterized by an asymptomatic focal osteomyelitis and exuberant periosteal deposition of bone. The disease occurs primarily in children, and to date in all instances it has occurred only in the mandible. Therapies for the disease vary considerably; these are tabulated and discussed. Two cases are added to the literature.
