Five groups of rats were injected with radiopaque dye and trypan blue and various concentrations of isobucaine hydrochloride and meprylcaine hydrochloride with use of either a 25-gauge needle or Syrijet. For a higher concentration of anesthetic in a specific area, it is recommended that an increased volume of solution be given, rather than an increased concentration of anesthetic. |
