Abstrakt: A study of Massachusetts dentists shows that, in a six-year period, a significant increase in film speed and reduction in milliampere “on” time have been achieved in the use of dental X-ray apparatus. Among dental society members there has been no excess mortality ascribable to the use of radiation and it is believed that X-ray procedures now carried out are safe.
