Abstrakt: •Deletion of the exo-3gene caused lifespan shortening in an ung-1-dependent manner.•Deletion of the exo-3gene caused decreased self-brood size in an nth-1-dependent manner.•The exo-3gene was abundantly expressed in the gonads.•The level of AP sites in the gonad-deficient glp-1mutant was increased.
