Abstrakt: The currently used methods of fingerprint detection may be classified into two categories: those which are dependent on the adherence of inert materials to fingerprint residues (powder methods), and those which rely on chemical interaction of a detection reagent with specific components of the latent print (for example, ninhydrin method) [1]. Both classes, in fact all conventional fingerprint detection methods, require a chemical or physical treatment of the exhibit under examination.
