The measurements were carried out at the IBR-30 pulsed neutron booster of JINR in Dubna using 121 m flight path with 16-section liquid scintillation (n, γ) – detector for the obtaining of the capture cross-section and 124 m one with boron counters SNM-13 as a neutron detector to obtain a total cross-section in the energy range 10 eV-10 keV.As the sample, two metal foils of 232Th with the thickness of 0.2 mm were used, and as the resonance filter sample of 232Th, three metal disks with thickness 5 mm, 10mm and 20 mm were used.Differential and group cross-sections were extracted from flight-of-time spectra with errors 3-7 %. Analogous values corresponding the GRUCON code used the ENDF/B-6, JENDL-3 evaluated data libraries. The experimental data differ from the calculated ones in 10-20 % in some groups. |
