Cornea plana is that condition in which the radius of curvature of the anterior portion of the eyeball, specifically the cornea, is the same as that of the eyeball. Three cases in one family—mother and two daughters—arc described individually. In both daughters was present the indistinct corneal opacity extending from the corneo-scleral margin into the corneal tissue described by Swett. A table gives corneal measurements and errors of refraction in four members of the family for purposes of comparison. From the Department of Ophthalmology, Stanford University Medical School.
