A simulation code was developed in order to improve the understanding of the working features of an airdust concentration measuring device, which operates according to the beta radiation absorption method. This work is intended with the aim of performing parametric analysis of a variety of error sources and testing the validity of some design solutions adopted by the most common used automatic airdust monitors. |
