| Abstrakt: | The article’s purpose is to examine the aetiological scheme employed by Propertius in 4,2,3-10: the definition of the space and of the time that mark the admission of Vertumnus in Rome e the god’s relation with the Forum Romanumis very important to understand the way of the Vertumnus integration in the Roman pantheon. The statue in the Vicus Tuscusis the most evident proof of the spatial and chronological continuity that is in the background of the Vertumnus aition. |
