Abstrakt: •G2 cell cycle arrest was observed only in mutant cells for the TP53gene after AITC treatment.•Significant decrease of cells at S phase occurred in the wild-type TP53treated cells.•AITC genotoxicity, apoptosis rates and cell cycle arrest were depended on TP53status.•AITC did not modulate TP53gene expression.
