SummaryThe following article focuses on actual governmental practices in the Saxon school system. By establishing instruments like external evaluation and management by objectives school authorities try to promote the developement of school quality, efficiency and effectivity. A main topic in the article will be the possibilitiy of participation of the schools’ members seen as stakeholders in the context of external quality audits and management by objectives. The article elucidates the practices and key agents with the help of the official documents published by the Saxon school authorities to standardise the processes. It will be shown that there are different modes of participation and exclusion of participation in the various stages of the procedures. |
