AbstractBulbs of A. cepawere treated with different doses of gamma rays. Chromosomal behaviour and antioxidant enzymes status were studied on 3rdand 30thday respectively after irradiation to understand the level of radiosensitivity. A positive correlation between chromosomal abnormalities and antioxidant enzymes related defence mechanism of cell has been established. |
