Abstrakt: In this article, the authors sketch a model of the interactions among education and major social institutions. The worldwide effects of, in this case, the State, Commerce, and Civil Society (including religion and its institutions), are discussed. Macro and micro effects are examined. The model is offered as a starting place for further theorizing and application by scholar-practitioners.
