Abstrakt:	Synthetic routes to various bis‐THF annonaceous acetogenins and prototypes thereof are reviewed. These C35–C37long‐chain diethers exhibit a remarkable range of biological activities. The core unit, with six oxygenated stereogenic centers, provides a challenging target for asymmetric synthesis.
