AbstractAteniese, Blundo, De Santis and Stinson introduced Visual Cryptography Schemes (VCS) and Extended Visual Cryptography Schemes (EVCS) for general access structures. In [3] we developed a new VCS for Steiner Triple Systems (STS) based access structures under both offline and online modes. In this paper we introduce a new online EVCS for STS access structures. The new technique to construct the scheme is given here. We also propose a model for implementation of the online EVCS by using a Local Area Network (LAN). A single bit error detection is incorporated in the scheme without causing any difference in the EVCS structure. Various advantages of this scheme are discussed. |
