Abstrakt: The ethos of modern nursing is profoundly shaped by its responsiveness to society. This responsiveness is the major force that has moved nursing into an age wherein we must accept accountability for the acts which affect the recipient of our practice. Included in accountability is moral responsibility. To clarify one point on moral responsiveness and responsibility of the nurse is the purpose of this article.
