The article presents an exact solution of the vacuum Brans–Dicke (BD) field equations for the metric tensor of a spatially homogeneous and anisotropic cylindrically symmetric and plane symmetric cosmological models. Some physical properties of these models are also discussed. Finally these models have been transformed to the original form (1961) of BD theory. |
