Abstrakt: |
This paper aims to present a first part of research carried out on pneumatic muscles. The first applications of these actuators were in the innovative research areas as: rehabilitation medical equipments, prosthesis, robotics and exoskeletons. Despite of a large number of applications, theoretical and experimental research in this area are not many, due to there complex structure in which are used new materials, a combination synthetic rubber membrane and polymers fibers. In this article will be presented the experimental results of a specific pneumatic muscle based on which it will be realized a mathematical model to describe its behavior and to determine the parameters that influence largely static and dynamic feature. |
