Abstrakt: GEORGIA. CHANGES IN ATLANTA COLLEGE FACULTIES. —Dr. William S. Elkin has been elected dean of the Atlanta College of Physicians and Surgeons, to succeed Dr. William S. Kendrick, and Dr. Stephen T. Barnett, registrar; Dr. James B. Baird has been appointed professor of principles and practice of medicine; Dr. Charles G. Giddings, professor of clinical medicine; Dr. E. Bates Block, professor of clinical medicine, and Dr. Cyrus W. Strickler, associate professor of principles and practice of medicine. The faculty proposes to erect a new building to cost $75,000, of which $30,000 has already been subscribed. NEW MEDICAL SCHOOL. —The Atlanta School of Medicine opened October 3 in its temporary quarters in the Masons' Annuity Building with the following faculty: Dr. Howard J. Williams, Macon, special lecturer on surgery; Dr. William S. Kendrick, professor of medicine; Dr. Charles D. Hurt, professor of therapeutics; Dr. George H. Noble, professor of abdominal surgery
