Abstrakt: • Three patients with angiographically documented acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy had abnormal urinary sediments, as demonstrated by analysis of first morning urine specimens. The urinary casts disappeared after the acute ocular lesions healed. A correlation may exist between a subclinical microvascular nephropathy and a choriocapillaris microvasculopathy.
