Trans-T-tube biliary catheterization using standard vascular catheters and guidewires has been used to relieve postoperative biliary obstruction. In two cases with long-term biliary drainage following bile duct reconstruction, sediment was dislodged from the tubing, while in another case a catheter was passed through a neoplastic stricture reestablishing drainage. |
