Abstrakt: Selective renal arteriography is a necessary technic in the present-day evaluation of patients with high blood pressure. It provides a high diagnostic yield of renal-artery occlusive lesions with low morbidity. In a total series of 127 patients, 32 patients were found to have occlusive renal-artery lesions; 12 were operated upon: of these, seven were cured and three significantly improved. Selective renal arteriography, in our laboratory, is associated with no mortality and a morbidity of 6%. Glomerular filtration rate and renal plasma flow were unimpaired after selective renal arteriography.
