| Abstrakt: |
Two patients had erythema infectiosum complicated by arthritis. One also exhibited a hemolytic anemia in association with the infection. To our knowledge, this represents the first report of the occurrence of hemolytic anemia in association with erythema infectiosum. The arthritis was self-limited and unassociated with permanent sequelae. Various viral agents have notable effects on the hematopoietic system and the production of arthritis. |
