Abstrakt: |
A multi-parametric integral arising in a radiation field problem is considered. From the series expansion of the integral, a sequence of approximations, uniformly convergent with respect to some parameter, is derived. Strict error estimates for the remainder of the series and numerical applications demonstrate the effectiveness of the approximations. In particular, in the case of the integral expressing the radiation field from a plane rectangular source a sequence of uniform approximations are established; the n-th approximant produces approximately n/2 exact decimal digits. |
