Abstrakt: Traditional design methods do not ensure obtaining the required high level of machines ergonomicity since they treat the designed object as a technical production. Ergonomic design is a variant of engineering design in which ergonomic criteria are the decisive and superordinated ones and at same time the system: man - machine - environmentis the object of design. It results from the above mentioned assumptions that traditional engineering design processes may prove to be inadequate to realize a new and wider purpose. That is why, it is necessary to elaborate such design method which would offer the greatest probability of obtaining a high level of ergonomic quality of design.
