| Abstrakt: | Homologous mammalian lysozymes have specific effects on the in vitro growth patterns and morphology of normal and transformed mammalian cells, apparently due to effects on constituent membranes. Lysozyme may be important in the surveillance of membranes and may be a mediator of the antitumour functions of macrophages. |
