Abstrakt: The present study demonstrates that potent mental stress, such as that produced in response to the simulated public speaking task, results in an increase in heart rate and blood pressure, and vasoconstriction of normal coronary artery segments in patients with and without angiographically demonstrable coronary artery disease.
