Abstrakt: Microcomputers can be efficient and low-cost tools for performing a variety of industrial hygiene tasks such as calculating time-weighted average exposures, doing statistical analyses and storing and retrieving sampling data. They can save substantial amounts of time and significantly reduce the likelihood of computational error. Choosing the proper hardware and software is important because poor choices can severely limit the number of potential applications.
