The reaction between 3dimethylamino3,3bismethylthio1substitutedprop2en1ones and 4substituted5amino1Hpyrazoles afforded new pyrazole1,5apyrimidines structurally related to Zaleplon. The chemical modifications introduced at the 3, 5, and 7positions of the bicyclic structure revealed new promising candidates for the treatment of sleep disorders. |
