4Alkylaryl5nonanoyloctadecanoyl2,4dihydro3H1,2,4triazoline3thiones were synthesized as potential antimicrobial agents. The course of synthesis included the reaction of nonanoyloctadecanoyl hydrazines with selected alkylaryl isothiocyanates. The prepared thiosemicarbazides gave by cyclization the required 1,2,4triazoles. A number of synthesized compounds were subjected to in vitrotesting against two grampositive, two gramnegative bacteria and two fungi. |
